Golden brocade contour jacket by Thierry Mugler from his A/W 1998 runway. Snap-front jacket in a regal paisley metallic brocade carves out the curves in a crisp, contoured silhouette with a nipped-in waist and curved hip: the silhouette that ruled the season's show. Padded, exaggerated curved shoulders, lightly belled sleeves, and a stand collar lend a Renaissance air to this stately piece. Tiny fabric covered snaps line the front with princess seaming and small vents at the hem. We would atop an oxblood velvet fishtail skirt with a dark lip and sleek pony- or over a stovepipe leg jean and tee, Gold, burnt umber.
