Belarus' flag has changed a fair amount in the last century. The current flag was adopted in 2012 and based off a similar design from 1995. The old soviet era flag bore the sickle and hammer, while the pattern on the left had its colours reversed. A powerful yet subtle statement.

The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
