In the summer of 2017 these Vita Kin dresses where one of the most wanted pieces of the season and were sold out or wait-listed everywhere. Vita’s Vyshyvanka pieces (a traditional embroidery technique from Ukraine) are easy to wear and have a touch of a seventies vibe to them that make then the perfect summer staple. The dress is made from a heavy weight linen that helps to hold the intended shape and volume of the dress. The body is cut extremely loose and easy and the shape is achieved by cinching in the waist with the long attached fabric belt. It is extremely voluminous without the belt so will fit almost any size. Each sleeve is cuffed at the wrist and above that the sleeves are extremely full. The front neckline is notched almost to the waist and is kept in place with tasseled ties that run down the front. Adorning the dress is the heavy embroidery that you see in a red and deep blue/black. This gives it that striking and instantly identifiable Vita Kin look. I love how on each side there are panels built into the bottom of the skirt that give it even more volume. These are very over sized so will work on almost any frame. Excellent condition
